JACK & THE BEANSTALK
KINGS THEATRE - SOUTHSEA

The Kings Theatre - Southsea

Breaking box office records this 2016 production of Jack and the Beanstalk provided much to write home about. A truly magical production in every sense it was heralded in many quarters as the best The King’s Theatre has staged. No mean feat given this theatre’s pantomime record of success. With a heavy emphasis on comedy, there were some hilarious modern spins on traditional panto gags from an extremely talented cast.

Role - Fairy Peapod.

Giving a great deal of energy to the role, this fairy was here, there and everywhere in her quest for good to triumph over evil. Even so she still managed to inject a great deal of grace and elegance into the role. A huge hit with the children, Fairy Peapod was never more popular than when performing the 12 Days of Christmas.
