In November 2014, Vicki joined the line up for possibly the biggest, most popular and most terrifying reality show of them all, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Joining her on the jungle expedition were Jimmy Bullard, Mel Sykes, Tinchy Stryder, Craig Charles, Nadia Forde, Michael Beurk, Gemma Collins, Carl Fogarty, Edwina Currie and Jake Quickendon.

Taking the challenge on behalf of older women everywhere, Vicki’s jungle adventure began with her zipping into the slammer via a cable wire stretched over a ravine. The next few days saw her enduring savage conditions sleeping on the ground with only a basic porridge for food. Once in the main camp, among other things, she went on to be buried in a tomb with dozens of rats, be rotated under water on the giant deadly-dunker and take part in an hilarious dingo dollar trial involving Michael Beurk dressing up as a giant bird.

Vicki remained in the jungle for a creditable 21 days.
