Les Dennis Lunch with Friends

Hundreds of friends and fans of the comedy legend Les Dennis converged on the Marriott Hotel, Regent’s Park on Sunday the 12th February when Vicki hosted a Heritage Foundation Lunch in celebration of the life and work of one of the industry’s best-loved performers. It was Vicki’s duty to introduce Lord Martyn, Rose, Lionel Blair, Bella Emberg and Jack Smethurst all of whom paid tribute to their colleague in their own inimitable ways as did Vicki herself who has worked with Les on numerous occasions. She later presented Les with a crystal commemorative-plaque in recognition of his lifetime achievement before introducing the entertainment for the day provided by Singer Susan Black and The Trembling Wilburys. The charity auction was conducted by Adger Brown while Vicki performed the customary raffle, aided and abetted by John D. Collins, Katy Manning and Karen Kitter. Other celebrities attending included; Su Pollard, Steve McFadden, Jess Conrad, Errol Kennedy and Duncan Norvelle.
