Foundation - Garden Party |

Vicki
is to headline along with Robin Gibb CBE and
Veterans of Bomber Command at The Heritage
Foundation Garden Party on Sunday 18th July at the
home of The Foundation - Greenacres, 3 Birchwood
Chase, Great Kingshill, Bucks. The event is being
held in celebration of the granting of planning
permission for The Bomber Command Memorial planned
for Green Park in London, a project which was
initiated by The Foundation and is being spearheaded
by Robin Gibb as President of the charity. In
addition to Vicki, many celebrities are expected to
attend including; Su Pollard, Jeffrey Holland, Judy
Buxton, Mike Read, Nicholas Parsons OBE, Paul Shane,
Robert Duncan, Jean Fergusson, Juliette Kaplan,
Lynda Baron, Anita Graham, John D Collins and Philip
Madoc. |

Haven House -
Concert in the Park |

|
Vicki has plans to
be at The White House, Mallinson Park, Woodford Green,
Essex IG8 9LB on Saturday 24th July for a mix of rock
and pop music in the park in aid of the charity. The
concert which is an annual event, this year boasts
performances from Dirty Santana, Stereo Decade, Slam,
The Cameron and the 2008 X Factor finalist, Scott
Bruton.

Blackpool Comedy

Vicki is to be
honoured with her very own Commemorative Plaque in the
Blackpool Comedy Carpet scheduled for unveiling later in the
year. The carpet honours ‘The Greats’ from the world of
comedy and will incorporate famous catchphrases and
quotations. It is part of a massive project to enhance the
seafront and will connect the entrance to The Tower with the
Tower Festival Headland creating a unique waterfront of
great interest. Heralded as Blackpool’s Walk of Fame, it is
expected to become a major tourist attraction. Said Vicki
‘I am absolutely thrilled and excited at the news, it is
such an honour but I have to admit it took a while for it to
sink in when my agent rang to tell me. I am really looking
forward to seeing the finished thing. |
